The spinning head is a key equipment for the production of high speed wire rods to make the rolled wire rod laying into coils for collection.
Brief introduction
High speed wire rod mill generally refers to the wire rod mill whose maximum rolling speed is higher than 40m/s. This kind of rolling mill is the comprehensive product of metallurgical technology, electrical control technology and mechanical manufacturing technology. In the high speed wire rod production line, the wire rod after rolling, need to pass the laying head and form coils, in order to complete the transformation from straight wire rod to wire rod coil.
The laying head machine is one of the key equipment in the production of high speed wire rod, and it is also an important bottleneck restricting the speed of high speed rolling mill. With its special-shape structure and a certain rotary speed, the laying head machine turns the high-speed straight wire rod into a stable coil with uniform spacing. With the increase of wire rod rolling speed and output, the requirement of laying head machine is getting higher and higher, so many high speed wire rod production enterprises will appear in the production because of the instability of laying head coils, which affects the product quality and production.
Structure of laying head
The laying head machine of the high speed wire rod mill is of horizontal structure, located between the water cooling box of the control cooling production line after the finishing mill and the cooling control roller table. The laying head machine is composed of transmission device, hollow shaft, laying head disc, laying head tube, bevel gear and other parts. The laying head machine is driven by a motor, and the hollow shaft is rotated through the meshing of a pair of bevel gears in the gear box. The laying tube is installed on the disc, and the disc and the hollow shaft are connected by bolts.
Laying process analysis of laying head
When the laying head is working, the inlet guide pipe of the laying head is sent into the hollow shaft of the laying head through the pinch roll in front of the laying head. The hollow shaft drives the laying disc and the laying tube to rotate together, so that the wire rod material entering the hollow shaft spits out the coil along the tangent direction of the outlet circumference of the laying tube through the rotating laying tube, and is dumped smoothly on the air cooling roller table to form a continuous wire rod coil.
When the wire rod passes through the high-speed rotating laying tube, under the positive pressure of the wall of the laying tube, sliding friction, the thrust of the finishing mill and the pinch roll, and the action of its own centrifugal force, it gradually bends and deforms with the shape of the laying tube, and gradually bends with linear motion, and reaches the required curvature at the outlet of the laying tube, forming a spiral coil and spitting out evenly and smoothly.
