Senior Steel Rolling Engineer
Mr. CAI He has been deeply engaged in steel rolling processes and project management for nearly 20 years and possesses full-chain experience from "technology research and development - design - production - coordination". Currently serving as the project manager and steel rolling process expert of Shanghai Metallurgy Group, he leads the development of new rolling technologies and the upgrading of intelligent production lines.
In the early stage, he promoted the technological innovation of the production line in the large STEEL GROUP (DONGBEI SPECIAL STEEL GROUP), completed the optimization of multiple sets of rolling mill systems and the standardization of tooling. The innovative technology increased the roll changing efficiency by 12%, and the emergency rolling plan guaranteed the delivery of orders of over 4,000 tons, reducing costs by more than one million yuan annually. Later, Mr Cai transformed into a design institute of a central state-owned enterprise (MCC-BERIS) and served as the process manager and project start-up manager, coordinating the design of large-scale projects and the implementation of general contracting. He precisely coordinated to shorten the critical construction period by more than 20 days and avoid risks of tens of millions.
